Bengaluru, Sep 30 (PTI) A 12-year-old boy died after the two-wheeler he was travelling on with his grandfather allegedly lost balance and fell on the road when a car suddenly came in their path here on Wednesday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Dikshith, they said.
The accident occurred on Kurudusonnenahalli Main Road under the jurisdiction of the K R Puram Traffic Police Station, police said.
According to police, the accident occurred when his grandfather was returning home after picking up his two grandchildren from school on a two-wheeler.
While they were travelling on Kurudusonnenahalli Main Road, the grandfather allegedly lost control of the two-wheeler after a car suddenly came across their path, causing the vehicle to fall onto the road, a senior police officer.
Dikshith suffered severe head injuries in the accident and died on the spot, he said.
K R Puram Traffic Police personnel visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
