Bhiwani, Mar 31 (PTI) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday said the Congress failed to implement its election promises while the BJP government has been delivering on its commitments in a transparent and time-bound manner.

Addressing the ‘Unnat Sinchai Utsav-2026’ in Tosham of Bhiwani district, Saini said 60 out of 217 promises made by the BJP have already been fulfilled, while work on the remaining is in progress.

He said there is no shortage of petrol, diesel or LPG in the state and accused the opposition of misleading people.

Adequate stock is available across fuel pumps and LPG agencies, he added.

The chief minister announced that 2,500 patwaris will be deployed soon to strengthen the revenue system.

He also said an e-Bhoomi portal for setting up an Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Tosham will be opened shortly for voluntary land registration by farmers.

Highlighting farmer welfare, Saini said all 24 crops are being procured at minimum support price (MSP) and Rs 1.64 lakh crore has been transferred directly to the accounts of about 12 lakh farmers.

He said mustard procurement has begun while wheat procurement will start from April 1.

Saini said development works are being carried out across the state and assured that no stone will be left unturned for the progress of the Bhiwani region.

He also said several irrigation and infrastructure projects worth over Rs 100 crore were inaugurated or launched during the event. PTI VSD KSS KSS
