BJP chief Nitin Nabin to visit Punjab from June 20-22

Chandigarh, Jun 18 (PTI) BJP National President Nitin Nabin will visit Punjab from June 20 to 22 and participate in a series of religious, social and organisational programmes in Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana, party leaders said on Thursday.

Punjab BJP General Secretary Anil Sarin said Nabin will arrive in Amritsar on June 20 and pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib. He will also visit Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Mandir and Sri Ram Tirath Mandir.

Later, he will travel to Jalandhar, where he will be welcomed by BJP workers and supporters.

On June 21, Nabin will take part in International Yoga Day celebrations at Lovely Professional University. He will then proceed to Ludhiana and inaugurate the district BJP office on Dugri Road.

The BJP chief will also address a meeting of sub-circle in-charges and senior party functionaries.

In the evening, he is scheduled to interact with industrialists and members of the business community.

On June 22, Nabin will meet Members of Parliament, former MPs, MLAs, former MLAs and youth representatives.

He will also participate in a youth conclave and hold meetings with state office-bearers, district presidents and members of the BJP Punjab core group.

Sarin said the visit is expected to give fresh momentum to the party’s organisational expansion in Punjab and strengthen its outreach among different sections of society. PTI VSD MPL MPL
