Jaipur, Apr 23 (PTI) BJP national president Nitin Nabin will inaugurate seven party district offices in Rajasthan during his visit to the state on April 27, state BJP chief Madan Rathore said on Thursday.

Rathore said Nabin, who will be visiting Rajasthan for the first time after assuming office as the BJP’s national president, will inaugurate the party office in Tonk and virtually inaugurate other district offices. He will also lay the foundation stone for a new BJP office in Jalore.

“After arriving in Jaipur, he will proceed to Tonk, where he will inaugurate the district office and address party workers and the public. The programme will be broadcast live across BJP offices in the state,” Rathore said.

He added that Nabin will later return to Jaipur, where he will be accorded a welcome by party workers from the airport to the state BJP headquarters. He will also hold meetings with party office-bearers, including members of various morchas and cells, and chair a core committee meeting to guide organisational expansion.

Rathore said party workers are enthusiastic about the visit and extensive preparations are underway.

Responding to a question on a recent photograph featuring Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, Rathore said the image was an attempt to project unity but instead highlighted internal differences.

“They are trying to show they are together by posing for photographs, but it reflects their underlying differences. The situation has forced them to display unity publicly,” he said.

On the refinery issue, Rathore said the opposition should avoid politicising the matter, adding that investigations are underway and facts will emerge once the probe is complete. PTI AG KSS KSS
