Patna, Apr 23 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday said the state’s financial condition is “good” and asked all government departments to work in a planned manner for further improvement.
He made the remarks while addressing a review meeting of the finance department and departments related to internal resources at the chief minister’s secretariat here.
According to an official statement, Choudhary stressed the need for innovation in revenue collection and augmentation.
“The financial condition of the state is good, and all departments should work in a planned manner to improve it further,” he said.
He also underscored the importance of financial discipline across departments and directed officials to take necessary steps in this regard.
“Bihar’s budget size is quite large, and significant development work is being carried out. The government is taking all necessary steps in the interest of the people,” the chief minister said.
