New Delhi: The 17th Meeting of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV) commenced today, 29 October 2024, in Hoi An, Vietnam. The meeting, co-chaired by Lao PDR and Malaysia, focuses on drafting sessions for the APSC Strategic Plan, a crucial step towards realizing the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
The APSC Strategic Plan, along with the Strategic Plans of the three Community Pillars and ASEAN Connectivity, are anticipated to be adopted in 2025. These plans will guide the future direction and development of the ASEAN Community beyond 2025.
The 17th HLTF-ACV meeting marks a significant juncture in shaping the post-2025 vision for ASEAN. The High-Level Task Force, comprising senior officials and experts from ASEAN member states, plays a pivotal role in formulating recommendations and strategies to achieve the goals outlined in the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
