Tirupati, May 4 (PTI) An anonymous devotee from Hyderabad donated over Rs 1 crore to the TTD-run SV Annaprasadam Trust on Monday.
The donation demand draft was handed over to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer M Ravichandra.
“An anonymous devotee from Hyderabad donated over Rs 1 crore to the SV Annaprasadam Trust as part of service to Lord Venkateswara,” a press release from the temple body said.
The SV Annaprasadam Trust provides free food to devotees visiting Tirumala, ensuring that thousands are served food daily as part of the temple’s charitable activities.
