Amaravati, May 18 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday congratulated PM Narendra Modi on being conferred Sweden’s ‘Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree of Commander Grand Cross’ in recognition of his exceptional contributions to bilateral ties and visionary leadership.
Naidu noted that this was the 31st international honour conferred on PM Modi.
“Heartiest congratulations to Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji on being conferred Sweden’s highest honour for global leaders, the ‘Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree of Commander Grand Cross’,” Naidu said in a post on X.
The chief minister observed that the Swedish honour reflects PM Modi’s remarkable leadership and his continued efforts to strengthen India’s global partnerships and international cooperation.
Modi was awarded the “highest distinction Sweden can confer on a Head of Government” in recognition of his contribution to India-Sweden relations and his leadership.
