Amit Shah to visit Bureau of Police Research, deliver lecture on new criminal laws

The Home Minister will honor the recipients of the President's Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and President's Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) for the years 2023 and 2024.

New Delhi: Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will visit the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) on Wednesday as Chief Guest. The purpose of the visit is to deliver a lecture on New Criminal Laws – Citizen Centric Reforms by the Home Minister, a PIB release stated.

During the visit, the Home Minister will honor the recipients of the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and President’s Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) for the years 2023 and 2024. In addition, he will also release a special edition of the BPR&D’s “Indian Police Journal” on new criminal laws. The Journal has been published by the Bureau of Police Research and Development as a part of its efforts to promote research and development in policing and internal security in India.

The Honoring ceremony of the recipients of the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and President’s Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) will be held at the reception ceremony organized by the BPR&D, the release stated.
