New Delhi, Aug 8 (PTI) A partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunder and lightning is forecast for the city on Friday.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, 0.1 degrees below normal, while the maximum is expected to settle around 37 degrees Celsius.

Relative humidity at 8.30 AM stood at 69 percent, while no rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Delhi’s air quality was recorded in the moderate category with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 114 according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered “good,” 51 to 100 “satisfactory,” 101 to 200 “moderate,” 201 to 300 “poor,” 301 to 400 “very poor,” and 401 to 500 “severe.”PTI SGV DV DV
