Citizens were encouraged to utilize the platform for both seeking help and sharing information that can aid in curbing drug menace in society.

“It is the first instance in India where a police initiative provides parents, educators, and individuals with AI-based diagnostic tools for risk evaluation. These AI services are available in English, Telugu, Hindi and Urdu,” it said.

The “SAHAY AI”, AI-powered companion/Chatbot by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement Force helps users to ask drug related queries, while the “SHEILD AI”, the AI-powered assessment tool for drug users is designed to help them understand personal risk factors related to substance use and provide personalized guidance.

The “MITRA TG”, is the AI screening tool for parents and teachers to detect early teen substance use, the release said.

The platform aims to strengthen coordination between law enforcement agencies and the public by encouraging community involvement in building a drug-free Telangana.

The website leverages advanced features to assist users in filing complaints related to drug trafficking and abuse in a secure and user-friendly manner ensuring anonymity and accessing verified information on drug rehabilitation centres across the region besides receiving guidance and support resources for de-addiction and recovery.
