Lucknow, May 1 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday extended greetings to the people of Gujarat and Maharashtra on their foundation days, praising their contributions to the country’s unity, development and progress.
In a post on X, Adityanath greeted the people of Gujarat on the state’s foundation day and said the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has shown the nation the path of unity, self-reliance and service.
He expressed hope that the state would continue to set new benchmarks of development and prosperity under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
The chief minister also extended greetings on ‘Maharashtra Day’, describing Maharashtra as a land of hard work, valour and progress.
He said the state, known for its legacy of revolution, peace and self-rule, would achieve new milestones of development under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
