Pune, Mar 31 (PTI) Police on Tuesday registered a case against Pune-based activist and content creator Santosh Pandit for allegedly sexually harassing a woman journalist, an official said.
The FIR against him was filed at the Parvati police station.
The woman journalist, who works for a television channel in the city, said the incident took place on Monday when she was covering a protest organised in the city in connection with cases against arrested self-styled godman Ashok Kharat.

Pandit is known for raising civic issues on his social media accounts.
Based on the complaint, the accused was booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 75 (sexual harassment), 78 (stalking), 352 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace), 351 (criminal intimidation) and 196 (obscene acts), the police said. PTI COR NP
