Jamshedpur, Sep 26 (PTI) Four persons were seriously injured after unidentified men opened fire at a mall here on Saturday afternoon, a police officer said.
The victims were having food at a restaurant in Bindal Mall, which is located within Sonari police station limits, when the assailants allegedly opened fire indiscriminately, seriously injuring four persons.
The accused fired 11 rounds, police said.
The injured were rushed to Tata Main Hospital, where they were undergoing treatment, police said.
Senior police officers reached the spot after being informed about the incident and launched an investigation.
Prima facie, personal enmity is suspected to be the reason behind the firing, a police officer said.
Police examined CCTV camera footage from the area and identified one of the accused, they said.
A Special Investigation Team headed by the SP (City) has been formed to investigate the incident and apprehend the accused.
