Bokaro, Jun 4 (PTI) Three mutilated bodies were found on a railway track in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district on Thursday morning, police said.

The bodies were found lying near the Radhagaon railway station on the Ranchi-Bokaro line.

They may have been mowed down by a train on Wednesday night, a police officer said, adding, an investigation is underway.

One of the deceased has been identified as Bablu Soren of Mahuatand village in Bokaro, he said.

The bodies have been forwarded to Chas Sadar hospital for post-mortem examination, Bokaro Steel City rail police station in-charge Amrendra Patwar said.

A motorcycle and liquor bottles were also found at the spot, another officer said. PTI CORR SAN RBT
