Shahjahanpur (UP), Sep 5 (PTI) Three people died after being run over by vehicles in two separate road accidents in Shahjahanpur district on Saturday morning, police said.
According to the police, in the Tilhar Police Station area, two men riding a motorcycle died after being rammed into by a bus.
In the second incident, the driver of a mini-truck was run over by an unidentified truck while he was repairing his broken-down vehicle.
Superintendent of Police Saurabh Dixit identified the bike riders as Somesh Shukla and Mohit Awasthi, aged 24 and 23.
The Kaneg natives were on their way to the Neem Karoli temple when they were hit by a bus from behind.
Both were rushed to the Government Medical College, where they succumbed.
