Rajouri/Jammu, Apr 19 (PTI) At least 18 persons were injured when a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and overturned in a field in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri on Sunday, officials said.
Four of the injured were stated to be in critical condition, they said.
The accident occurred after the driver of the tempo traveller lost control while negotiating a sharp curve at Tralla near crusher Morh on the Darhal-Rajouri road, they added.
They said the vehicle veered off and turned turtle in an adjacent field.
Locals rushed to the spot and assisted in rescue efforts before police and emergency services arrived, the officials said, adding the injured were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital. PTI COR TAS APL
