Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Campaigning for the second phase of the assembly elections has started in Gujarat, with political parties looking to reach out to lakhs of voters in 93 constituencies.

Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a mega roadshow Thursday in Ahmedabad. The city will be voting on 5 December. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Rajya Sabha MPs Harbhajan Singh and Raghav Chadha also participated in the road show.

“Voting for AAP will bring a profit of Rs 30,000 a month, but voting for BJP will only bring corruption,” Kejriwal told the crowds at the roadshow. This election will change Gujarat’s future as people have an option other than the Congress and the BJP, he added.

Kejriwal also flung tossed copies of domestic electric bills from Punjab showing ‘zero’ amount after his party came to power in March.
