New Delhi: Even as active cases in India continue to decline, the total number of Covid-19 cases reported from the country crossed one crore over the weekend.

Test positivity rate remained low at 2.7 per cent Monday, indicating that India is conducting enough tests and that the falling number of daily positives is unlikely to be a consequence of inadequate testing.

However, Maharashtra and Kerala — the two states with the highest number of active Covid-19 cases — are seeing a rise in active cases.
