New Delhi: Imran Khan made a scathing attack against the establishment in an article published in The Telegraph, but many Pakistanis seem uninterested and are calling his accusations as “same bul**hit.” They aren’t impressed with the ‘Kaptan’.
No major newspaper in Pakistan has yet reported on the former PM’s article.
From claims about rigged elections to judicial uprising against military involvement, from discussing India to Pakistan’s economic crisis, Khan’s article went in several directions before concluding on the oft-repeated note, “The military establishment has done all they could against me. All that is left for them is to now murder me. I have stated publicly that if anything happens to me or my wife, Gen Asim Munir will be responsible. But I am not afraid because my faith is strong. I would prefer death over slavery.”
An X user seemed genuinely bored. “If they had to kill, they would have already done such an easy task. Keep begging your Lords to save you and get you a deal.” Another called it “word vomit”.
With this article, the Imran Khan vs Asim Munir saga has found a new twist.
“The little baby snake that PDM fed with milk thinking it will stay their pet has now turned into a huge venom spitter that will not stop destroying anything and everything in its path to total power, even if they want it to! Obviously changed its masters along the way,” a Reddit user commented on Khan, with another saying, “Bro wanted all or nothing.”

Journalists and activists seem to have differing views on Khan’s fresh attack against the establishment and the COAS, General Asim Munir.
Anas Malik, the Pakistan bureau chief for WION, tweeted, “Imran Khan’s article at the telegraph has essentially buried the narrative that some tried to create of a possible “deal” — there is no deal for sure, going by the tone and seems that the bridges from his end have been well burnt.”
Sameer Abbas, an anchorperson of Pakistan’s HUM News network, tweeted, “Msg from Adiyala is loud and clear “No to reconciliation, time for Confrontation only”.” Mubashir Zaidi, the former editor of Dawn, applauded Khan for “standing tall”.
“At least one politician is standing tall against the establishment for upholding civilian supremacy. This will help strengthen democracy in Pakistan,” he added.
A GeoTV anchor tweeted to Zaidi in response, calling it a game. “Had he been truly standing for civilian supremacy i wud have been the first one to join his caravan. We know his history and psyche, how he plays..he is a good player. It’s just that. He is playing well,” she said.
An RJ quipped, “Mubashir sb waking up on the PTI side of the bed?”
One user posted the article with the Salim-Anarkali meme caption, “Wake up Anarkali, Immy K’s new article just dropped” to which a concerned user responded, “This is a wake up call for us. Not anarkali. When will we go on the roads?”
Meanwhile, others took personal offence to Khan’s claims of “I am not afraid to die”. Visuals of Khan arriving with his head covered with a “bulletproof” bucket for court hearings before had gone viral. And the Internet clearly did not forget to remind him under his article which is headlined “I am not afraid to die”.
As soon as the comment went online, visuals of Imran Khan’s ‘buckethead’ moment were circulating. Visuals of him peeking from behind black covers were shared on journalist Hamid Mir’s post where he had shared Khan’s article.

The only bul**hit here is what’s coming from this biased writer. He’s clearly Anti-Pakistani to have cherry-picked the negativity from the internet and turned it into an article against Khan.
The reality of the matter is, Khan is indeed being attacked by Pakistan’s army. The only reason they haven’t done (wait, I need to laugh lol) this “easy” task as the writer quotes a gullible “X user”, is because it’s not so easy afterall. Because turning Khan into a Martyr means turning the whole Army into a villainous institute. It will be the Army’s murder first. Khan paints this target on Munir fairly enough, because he’s unlawfully holding both Imran Khan and his Wife in prison. Quite long of an imprisonment rather. Every person, for and against Imran Khan, knows this here in Pakistan.
Please fact check with locals before publishing such strong opinions about other countries politics.
