Vijay Deverakonda teams up with ‘Hi Nanna’ director Shouryuv for next film

Mumbai, Apr 18 (PTI) Telugu star Vijay Deverakond has joined hands with filmmaker Shouryuv for his next feature film, the actor announced on Saturday.

The 36-year-old actor shared the first look poster from the project on Instagram and it featured him dressed in an army green jumpsuit with gold gauntlets, walking three black dogs on gold chains.

“My next is-#VDxShouryuv. Introducing the team taking on the scary task of making this intimidating film. So happy to have this firecracker global team working on this one with Shoryuv on his wild imagination and intense heart.

“ROAR my friends. I will give you my all. Peak excitement and lots of love,” he wrote in the caption.

Shouryuv made an impressive debut with “Hi Nanna”, starring Nani and Mrunal Thakur in the lead.

The 2024 film was a commercial blockbuster and earned critical acclaim for its heartfelt storytelling, the lead performances, and its music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.

The compose will also provide music for the new project, which is bankrolled by production banner Vyra Entertainment.

The film’s crew includes cinematographer Alejandro Martnez, known for his work on “House of the Dragon”, Emmy-winning VFX supervisor Eric Durst, editor Praveen Antony, production designer Suresh Selvarajan, and costume designer Sachin Lovalekar.

Deverakond is currently working on “Ranabaali”, a historical action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan. It also stars his actor-wife Rashmika Mandanna. PTI RB RB RB
