Because I think if we can stick the landing, then people will be like, ‘That’s a great show!’ But if we s– the bed, people will say, ‘Oh, it was a good show, but they s– the bed.'”
In 2020, Kripke stated that his “rough idea” for the comic book TV adaptation was “roughly five seasons,” citing his previous show, Supernatural, which lasted 15 seasons. “But I also know better than to say how many seasons a show is gonna have,” he explained at the time.
