New Delhi: Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are in the middle of a rare public streak together, and their latest stop was an unlikely one. Days after dancing to Salman Khan’s iconic song ‘Oo Jaane Jaana‘ at a Delhi wedding, the two superstars were photographed side by side in Abu Dhabi, exploring the Natural History Museum’s newly unveiled exhibits.
It started last month when Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir Khan made a rare joint appearance at an event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where they reflected on their stardom, friendship, and individual journeys in the film industry.
During their latest appearance on Thursday, the two actors explored the museum with an exclusive first look at its collections and dynamic exhibits, including the immersive displays of a 67-million-year-old fossilised T. rex dinosaur “Stan”. Dressed in black suits, they also posed for photographs in front of the exhibit.
From stars of the recent Jurassic World movie, David Iacono and Audrina Miranda, to Breaking Bad actor and Tunisian-Italian model and cultural icon Afef Jnifen, the event was a meeting ground for celebrities at the VIP opening in Dubai held on 20 November. Currently, Salman is in the UAE for his Dabangg Tour, which also features performances from Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhu Deva, Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, and Stebin Ben.
Their back-to-back appearances, the latest being the third, have sent fans into a frenzy, reviving the unmistakable nostalgia and star power that defined Bollywood’s biggest on-screen and off-screen friendship.

Excited fans
Earlier, at the Delhi wedding, Shah Rukh and Salman performed Oo Jaane Jaana, the popular track from Salman’s film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), on stage, which went viral on social media. In the video shared online, Shah Rukh performs the steps of the song’s choreography with ease, even perfecting the hook step.
Fans were excited to see the two match each other‘s energy, and one Instagram user wrote, “Can anything get better than this?”.
In 2008, the two actors got into a major fight at Katrina Kaif’s party. The friendship had splintered, and the two did not come together, publicly or otherwise, until 2013. At late MLA Baba Siddique’s party, the two hugged each other and were soon seen together at various events and functions.
In the last few years, the two actors have also featured in cameos in each other’s films. Salman appeared as Tiger in Shah Rukh’s Pathaan (2023). Later that year, Shah Rukh reprised his role as Pathaan in Salman’s Tiger 3. Both films were blockbusters and the cameos became fan-favourite moments.
