New Delhi: Sadhguru dancing at a Los Angeles jam session hosted by Lizzo is not a crossover many saw coming—but videos of the moment are now going viral on social media.
Hosted by singer-songwriter Lizzo, the gathering was held as part of Sadhguru’s “Conscious Music Circle” initiative, bringing together artists including SZA, Doechii, UMI, Baby Rose, James Fauntleroy and Anseesa Strings in an intimate setting that blended music with conversation and reflection.
Videos shared on Instagram by Sadhguru, Lizzo and other attendees over the past two days show a close-knit group seated on the floor under the open sky. The evening began with a talk and Q&A session involving artists and actors, before transitioning into a collaborative jam.
“Singer-songwriter Lizzo hosted Sadhguru in Los Angeles, for an intimate talk followed by QnAs with artists and actors. This was followed by a Conscious Music Circle jam session joined by SZA, Doechii, Baby Rose, James Fauntleroy, UMI, Aneesa Strings, Dizzy Fae, Tanerelle, QUIÑ, Xiuhtezcatl and others,” the official page of Sadhguru wrote on Instagram.

Spontaneous collaboration
In clips from the session, Lizzo is seen playing the flute while SZA joins in with vocals, as other musicians build on the sound. Sadhguru, seated among the group with black shades, is later seen standing up, dancing and vibing along as the jam unfolds.
Described as a “Conscious Music Circle”, the format emphasises spontaneous collaboration rather than a rehearsed set, with artists feeding off each other’s energy as the music develops organically. The initiative brings together musicians and industry professionals in a shared creative space shaped by Sadhguru’s spiritual teachings.
In another moment from the videos, Sadhguru is seen addressing the gathering, speaking about the ephemeral nature of life and larger questions of purpose. Participants can also be heard chanting, “Breathe in, breathe out. Sadhguru told us that’s what it’s all about.”
SZA has previously been part of the Conscious Music Circle, including a session in December 2025. Earlier this year, the Grammy-winning artist also went viral in India for her “Can I get a Shiv Shambhu?” chant during the Maha Shivratri celebrations organised by the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore.
