Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 2 (ANI): Actor Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Khel Khel Mein’. During the trailer launch event of the film, he opened up about his movies not performing well at the Box Office.

He said, “Chaar picture chali paanch nahi chali..aese messages aaten hai ki..Sorry yaar, fikar mat karna. Sab thik ho jayega.’ Mara nahi hoon main.” ‘Sorry yaar, don’t worry! Everything will be fine.’ I’m not dead.)

Akshay added that there are even few journalists who told him to not worry and he will be back. He shared how he responded to them, saying “Mai phone karke bola.. bhai ye to kyu likh raha hai.. back matlab gaya kaha hoon. Yahi hoon. Humesha kaam karunga……Log kuch bhi kahe. Jo bhi kamata hoon, apne dum pe kamata hoon.” (Where have I gone, I’m right here. I will always work, let people say whatever they want to. Whatever I earn, I earn on my own.)

He shared, “I will keep working till they have to shoot me down.”

The trailer launch event was attended by the cast of the film. Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk and others graced the event.

Taking to Instagram, Akshay treated fans with a song video and captioned his post, “This song is a reminder to hold your love close. #DuurNaKarin song out now. #KhelKhelMein releasing in cinemas on 15th August 2024.”

The romantic track is sung by Vishal Mishra and Zahrah S Khan. It’s composed by Tanishk Bagchi and the lyrics are penned by Kumaar. The lyrics and the chemistry between Akshay and Vaani Kapoor.

The first track, Punjabi dance number features Akshay Kumar, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan.

In the song, Fardeen Khan and Akshay even recreated their iconic Heyy Babyy step. All decked up in traditional outfits, groove to the beats of party anthem.

The song is sung by Guru Randhawa, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Neha Kakkar.

The comedy-drama will be out in theatres on August 15, 2024. It was originally supposed to be released in September.
