Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 24 (ANI): Actor Dheeraj Dhoopar opened up on playing a grey-shaded character in the show ‘Saubhagyavati Bhava’ and expressed his enthusiasm for the challenging role, different from his previous roles and how portraying it on-screen affected him physically and mentally.

He said, “I love to get into the depth of any character that I play and being in the industry for more than 14 years now, I have pretty much learnt the art of getting in and getting out of character. The character Raghav Jindal that I am playing now is of a completely different psyche and I have understood the crux behind it. And trust me it is a dark place to be.”

“So getting in and out of such character is essential but difficult a lot of times. I have had comments from family members that I look shaken sometimes. But none the less all this is a part of an actor’s life and I am loving the love that Raghav Jindal is getting from his all over,” he added.

Previously, talking about his role in the show, he said, “Right after completing the shoot for my OTT debut I got this show and I was absolutely certain of doing this. Right from the team that I am working with to the character that I am playing made me make the decision to do this show. “

He added, “I play a grey shade character in the show and something that I have been waiting for a long time. The character is something that I have had to work hard to get into the skin of. It will be something completely different for my fans and followers, they will be surprised to see me in this avatar. I have played multiple roles in my career and this is something very challenging and out of the blue.

“Dheeraj is known for working in several TV shows such as ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, ‘Sherdil Shergill’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, among others. (ANI)
