Washington [US], April 12 (ANI): Before Jason Isaacs became known for his role in ‘The White Lotus’, he was already familiar to many as Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter series. And for Tom Felton, who played his on-screen son Draco Malfoy, Isaacs will always be “Dad.”

While speaking to People ahead of the opening of the new Harry Potter Shop in Chicago, Felton, 37, opened up about how close he still is with Isaacs.

“I still call him ‘Dad.’ So we’re very close,” Felton told People.

Felton shared that the last time he saw Isaacs, the actor was about to leave for Thailand to shoot The White Lotus. “I was thrilled to watch him do his thing,” Felton added.

Talking about the show, Felton said, “It was great. I’m a big fan of the show, and the cinematography is so beautiful. Wickedly complex character storylines. I’ve had a lot of fun watching it. And Mike White is fantastic.”

He also spoke about the upcoming Harry Potter project at HBO, though he said the cast hasn’t talked about it yet.

“I think we’re all very excited to see the wizarding world continue. I look forward to knocking on young Draco’s door and surprising him, or something like that,” Felton told People.

Tom Felton rose to fame with his role in the Harry Potter film series, where he played Draco Malfoy. The actor, who appeared in all eight films, became a key antagonist and a popular figure within the franchise. (ANI)
