New Delhi: The reality show Bigg Boss is gearing up for a major multi-language rollout next month, with five regional editions set to premiere simultaneously on 6 September for the first time.
Salman Khan will return as the host of the flagship Hindi edition, Bigg Boss 20. Mohanlal will host Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8, while Vijay Sethupathi returns for Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10. Kiccha Sudeepa will present Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13, while Nagarjuna is set to lead the Telugu edition.
The franchise has built a strong following across languages, with its regional versions attracting millions of viewers and generating significant engagement on streaming platforms.
By bringing the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada editions together on the same day, the network is looking to create a nationwide Bigg Boss moment.
The new seasons are expected to feature fresh themes, revamped houses, celebrity contestants and round-the-clock streaming from day one.
Khan is also bringing in the “Extra Jeevan Daan” in Bigg Boss 20. Under this, every contestant will get two chances or lifelines instead of one.
