LPL Financial inaugurates Global Capability Center in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 15 (PTI) LPL Financial, a US-based wealth management firm, on Wednesday announced the inauguration of its Global Capability Center (GCC) here.

While LPL’s core business remains US-focused, the Hyderabad-based LPL Financial Global Capability Center will support important enterprise functions, including technology, operations, product development, data and analytics and risk management, a release said.

As part of LPL’s global operating model, the GCC is expected to enhance advisor and client support, accelerate innovation, and strengthen platform stability and operational resilience.

Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu said, “We are delighted to welcome LPL Financial to Hyderabad as it establishes its Global Capability Center in this city. As we continue to elevate our position from being a GCC hub to a global value creation ecosystem, commitments like this reinforce Telangana’s vision of building Hyderabad as a leading global center for wealth management and financial services innovation”.

LPL Financial chief technology and information officer Greg Gates said : “By bringing together global talent through the LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad, we are strengthening our platform and accelerating the development of next-generation capabilities that support our advisors and clients.” Ramesh Kaza, executive vice president and head of country for the LPL Financial Global Capability Center, said, “Over the next three to five years, we expect this center to become an increasingly important capability hub, with teams supporting business, product development, technology, and operations, all executing against US-led strategy and aligned to LPL’s people-first culture and global standards.” The inauguration event took place in the GCC’s temporary office space located in the Financial District of Nanakramguda here and the GCC plans to move into its permanent space in early 2027, the release added.
