Retired SC judge A.K. Patnaik has been appointed to probe the affidavit which alleges a conspiracy to frame CJI Ranjan Gogoi in a sexual harassment case.
Justice N.V. Ramana recused himself from the panel after the woman who made the accusations alleged that he was like CJI Ranjan Gogoi’s ‘family member’.
The development comes a day after the woman, who accused Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi of sexual misconduct, expressed reservations about Justice Ramana.

Judiciary , particularly the Top most Court of the country is under threat and question. Of course whatever may be the situation, interference of Political Powers… Business Tycoons…Money Power ,are never ever to be allowed in the matters of any Judicial system of any Courts, higher or lower. The people of the country will lose their faith on any Judicial system and the verdict of any Judge. We don’t want such false allegations , against the Supreme Judge. The Truth and Fact should be revealed….!
Fearing such ‘ Me too’ events many people will avoid appointing ladies as staff members. Which will ultimately reduce the number of job opportunities for ladies.
Hope this will be the last incident, everyone who they’re aware of judiciary accountability known better than me that every court has such type of employees without any fear with the help of our system.
What is going on inside the courts, including Apex Court is no secret. The disgruntled employees of courts in connivance with some Lawyers, influential politicians, rich men/businessmen political goons and Corporate Houses are active in judiciary, which is very unfortunate. It appears that such people might have some links possibly with judges also. Let it be probed extensively by Mr. Justice A. P. Patnaik.
