Yet another great article by Ila ma’am. I think there’s one thing we all miss. The states and their allocations. Problems like health, edu, clean air and water can’t be solved only by the centre. What are the states’ policies and allocations? If the stubble burning in some areas are effecting other areas, can centre alone solve it? It’s time there’s more robust and institutional mechanism to discuss these things… especially those that fall in concurrent list like health. Instead of having multiple schemes, why not launch one scheme where all states and centre pool in their resources, decide outcomes and work towards achieving them?
