There are serious allegations of sexual harassment against the CJI. We cannot absolve him without a proper investigation. It is easy to say he is being framed, but that’s what all accused say. The victim has filed a detailed affidavit and there has to be some substance to it. All senior lady lawyers must stand by the complainant and help her get justice.
With due respect, the entire unveiling of event, calls for a biopic! Hope the chaiwala Chowkidar’s producer will take up this idea and make some quick buck to compensate for his lose in the earlier venture!
But, the general perception is that the media houses and some corporate houses are trying to malign the image of the Hon. CJI. It is being orchestrated by the media houses to put pressure on the Hon. CJI to resign. Hon. Sri Ranjan Gogoi is the cleanest of PERSONS one could come across in any sphere of life. His uncompromising stand always tickles the favour seekers on their wrong sides. He is known for his principled judgements, never swaying from the path of neutrality. But, we the people from Assam, know very well that the Hon. CJI would not bend and bow down to these concerted immoral efforts of the media and corporate houses.
