Not just Pappu, he is a good-for-nothing, mediocre Pappu who might as well buy some island with his ill-gotten wealth and declare himself a prince. It is sad that this fake opposition is so spineless that not one member of the GOP has the moral courage to stand up and say that he/she deserves much more than this Pappu to lead the party. So much for democracy!!!
And whoever believes that this Pappu will take on the challenge that goes with the role of India’s PM is greatly mistaken. He just wants one of his vassals to be the PM so he keeps touring to undisclosed destinations.
In a parliamentary democracy, the leader of the opposition has a very important, widely respected role to play. The ruling party should address the political challenge Shri Rahul Gandhi poses, without words like Pappu becoming part of the discourse. As India draws inexorably closer to the semi final in R / M / C and then the general election, all of us will be well served by a very civil electoral debate that focuses on livelihood issues, steering clear of polemic and personal attacks.
