More worrisome than the negative outlook on the Indian economy by Moody’s is its grim forecast that the slowdown may last long in the absence of reforms. 1. Mr Aatish Taseer is a citizen of the world. A man of integrity and intellect. In happier times, an ambassador for all that is good on the subcontinent, which would normally mean India most of the time, Pakistan only occasionally. What he says, writes even more so, influences global opinion more than the MEA’s XPD, which has been having an especially torrid time recently. Difficult to applaud the decision.
