Trump’s tariff blitz has an unlikely outcome: Musk has discovered Milton Friedman and his ‘pencil economics’. He’s sending subtle distress signals against Trump’s move. No one understands its pitfalls better than the man who made a killing with his ‘Tesla economics’, and more than a little bit of globalisation magic.

SC setting timelines for governors regarding bills is laudable. It’s a rebuke to the Centre too

Supreme Court setting timelines for governors to decide on bills sent by Assemblies is laudable. Fixing this loophole in Article 200 was much needed to curb their arbitrariness. Court’s strictures against Tamil Nadu governor are a rebuke to the Centre, too. It mustn’t incentivise them for obstructing elected governments’ functioning.

  1. Along with Elon Musk, Jamie Dimon, Bill Ackman, other respected business leaders are speaking up. Many others are still fearful, which is new for America. 104% tariffs are in place for China. As a child, when I did something especially dumb, mother would gently chide me, Kaun aapko sayaana bolega.

  2. The TN Governor must not abide by the Supreme Court ruling. The SC has absolutely no business dictating terms to the Governors of the various states. The Governors cannot be prosecuted and they are answerable to only the President of India.
What’s much more strange is that The Print dis not put out any editorial at all on the SC verdict on the WBSSC teacher’s appointment scam. Speaks volumes about it’s tall claims of “un-hyphenated journalism”.

  3. So now The Print is lauding Musk. All along it has consistently been cussing and deriding him. Now, all of a sudden, he has become a voice of reason.
The Print’s editorial board seems utterly confused.
