Pakistan’s blatant attack on the Afghan hospital, killing at least 400, is unforgivable, denials notwithstanding. From once calling Afghanistan its “strategic depth” to inflicting such devastation, Pakistan exposes a pattern of reckless militarism and scant regard for life. This is a grim reminder of a state repeatedly undermining regional stability.
