West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari has done the right thing to restore eggs on school mid-day meal menu. Introducing ISKCON-served vegetarian food post-election flew in the face of BJP leaders’ love for fish and mutton before the polls. It’s better to have egg on the menu than on the face.
Opposition hasn’t given any constructive suggestions for NEET reform
Opposition’s mockery of IIT Madras director Kamakoti for his gaumutra comment isn’t adding value to NEET debate. No constructive suggestions have come from politicians on reform. Government and the Opposition must be less combative and more consultative on designing a foolproof exam system. India’s youth expects results, not spectacle politics.
Value for money. Eggs contain high quality protein for growing children.
The Leader of Opposition currently is Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge. He is widely known for being bird-brained. No wonder there are no constructive interventions or ideas from him.
However, Shashi Tharoor did put forth some good suggestions.
The Modi govt is completely wrong in it’s approach to fixing the issue. It has appointed Nandan Nilekani and 4/5 others – most of whom have never ever administered any educational institution or were responsible for the conduction of national level exams.
How on earth is a ISRO chairman supposed to fix paper leaks? The very composition of the committee does not inspire any confidence at all.
