Supreme Court was fair and judicious in striking down Maratha quota law for exceeding 50 per cent cap. Identity politics has been stretched out of shape when the pie is so small. Without the ceiling limit, our politicians would slice and dice the pie into innumerable pieces, making reservation meaningless.
