Donald Trump’s threat to raise tariffs on Indian goods to 50% isn’t just about trade imbalances but more ego-driven. He knows this locks Indian products out of the US market. This isn’t a trade dispute, it’s a strategic challenge that will test India’s economic resilience, political maturity, and diplomatic agility.

With only four of 11 satellites in use, India’s satellite navigation system risks irrelevance. ISRO cannot afford to give up. Born from Kargil War lessons, NavIC is India’s answer to America’s GPS, a strategic imperative that will reduce dependency on other countries for intelligence. Future launches must fulfil this promise.

J&K’s ban of 25 Kashmir books doesn’t just chip away at the right to express, it takes away people’s choice to read. The list includes political commentaries and historical accounts. 1. 50% tariffs will crush Indian exports. Gems and jewellery. Garments, textiles. Pharmaceuticals is yet to come. Find a way out.

  2. The Print is so biased and partial. It’s heart bleeds for the ban on certain books in Kashmir. But it won’t speak a word on the humiliation heaped on the V-C of Calcutta University for her decision to hold exams on TMCP’s (TMC’s infamous student wing) foundation day.
