LG order allowing cops to depose remotely compromises fair trial. Lawyers are right to reject it

Delhi lawyers have intensified protest against LG’s order allowing policemen to depose virtually from police stations before a trial court. Their concerns are valid. Physical presence of witness rules out evidence manipulation. Possibility of tutoring witnesses is high in online appearances. This would compromise fair trial structure, administration of justice.
