Penguin Random House India does it again. It keeps creating a false impression of an atmosphere of fear across India. Whatever its anxieties over Joe Sacco’s ‘The Once and Future Riot’ or Sonia Gandhi’s ‘Belonging’, Penguin cannot project its cowardice onto India. Another foreign publisher, HarperCollins, has exposed Penguin’s timidity.
