It’s one thing to launch a peacekeeping drive in Ukraine, but back home, Manipur deserves the government’s commitment to peace too.

Europe should thank India for keeping fuel prices down, instead of criticising New Delhi for buying Russian oil. European imports of Indian petroleum products surged 253,788% since 2018. A significant portion of these were refined from discounted Russian oil. European commentators need to put their mouths where their money is.

  1. Oh, a lot more than Ukraine. Such a small state, effectively partitioned between two communities, like a marriage that has broken down irretrievably. If social cohesion is a big part of the solution, consider what is happening next door in Assam.
