As Senior Citizen with 48 years as successful ethical entrepreneur , I feel most important is that basic root in foundation of- How India works and is perceived rightly by the world –need to be improved. Let us focus on following low hanging fruits :

Media (print/electronic ) and OTT etc:

There must be proper guideline to minimise sensationalise and subtle compromise of human dignity in all media and OTT
1.All news like woman molestation, harming dignity of poor , religious based hurtful action etc must be mentioned on page 6 of print media or for maximum five minutes in middle of any electronic news. Tone of articles or TV announcer must be sober without shrills .
2.All news papers and electronic media to publish atleast 20 percent positive news in prominent place/time (like Indian Express does in weekend or Monday on front page )
3.OTT to be strictly told not to have vulgar words or over sexual or violent words. Many serials of Bihar are pathetic to see.
5.Highlight good performance of people from Minorities, Dalits as well as poor from majority to have sense of relevence for maximum Indians.

Police Reforms :
Police force to be increased to triple and trained with modern techniques, All police should be given dignified house, education , health facility to their family. Removal visible corruption and ability of police to threaten without basis must be curbed.

Judiciary reforms :
-All predefined minor crimes, if person has served in jail more than 3 years, they must be released promptly from jail against their personal bond and close the case.
-Wherever there are sessions or high court , depending on pendency of cases, government must rent large premises and appoint more judges to clear back log. It is pity that just by renting say 3 million sq ft and recruiting may be 5000 judges, India can easily reduce pendency half in 3 years if not implemented.
-Supreme court to have branch in atleast one or two more cities.
-For any commercial disputes arbitration to be must before moving legally. Necessary strengthening of arbitration process need to be done promptly.
-Government and Judiciary should prepare guideline whereby cases where government is involved must be reduced to 25 percent. Cases like Vodafone etc should never happen in future.
-Rewrite the Indian laws to simplify interpretation and minimise vagueness.

Land Reforms :
Land title and real owners must be digitised . Ready Reckoner rate of land should be at par with prevailing market rate to curb black money parking in land .

Education, healthcare and dignity for poor :

Toilets facility for dignity :
All cities /town, toilets must be a facility atleast every 3 km and on highway every 30 km .The maintenance should be left to private sector who will be allotted near by right size food dispensing as their earning. This will need to be strongly audited.

Ponds/lake and rivers:
all of them need to be rejuvenated and there must be proper plan after study of each case to deepen ponds/lake and dredge rivers. Huge cost will be worth for better watter and better quality of life pan india.

Enterpreneurship:
With growing GDP , biggest challenge is direct or subtle unemployment . Its impossible for government alone to employ all such persons. Simplest solution is to teach in all education institutes about how small and medium size enterprise can be established or managed furthermore government should publish every year studied awareness about which of enterprise will be viable in growing India.

THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN STARTUP as many enterprise can be blue collar work like tailor , missionary, carpentry, restaurants, food processing ,agri processing ,water navigation logistic and thousands of pre identified opportunity for services providers or small +medium business.
Government should announce for five years that any new corporate will pay corporate tax just token 3 pct if they employ minimum 20 persons .Give unutilized waste land for token lease and instead of land value government should see employment creation as social service. Ofcourse precautions to avoid cartel or misuse.

India should target atleast 10 mil new enterprises and target 200 mil employment opportunity.

Gardens/sports area/open area:
There must be pan india standard guideline for requirements of gardens/sports area and open area for people .No state or centre shold be allowed to compromise

All above is possible if all stakeholders listed earliers agree and give joint statement confirming total support.

It will be great contribution by The Print to future of india if all right suggestions from various readers are persued to Government, press ,administration, judisciary ,religious leaders and celebrities who can influence destiny of india and Indians

Jai Hind!!!

Gardens/open space/sports area:
to have standardised plan everywhere so that citizens can have space to enjoy nature , health care and simple joys of life.
