Tokyo: Passengers evacuated via emergency slides from a United Airlines plane at Japan’s Kansai Airport in western city of Osaka around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, public broadcaster NHK said.
The Boeing 737 aircraft heading to Cebu in the Philippines from Narita airport near Tokyo was diverted after a cargo fire indicator activated while flying over the Pacific Ocean, NHK reported.
It is not clear how many passengers were on board or whether there are any injuries.
