The United Kingdom is set to announce £500 million in additional military aid to Ukraine.

This significant military aid will help Ukraine defend itself against Russia’s ongoing invasion. The funding will be used to rapidly deploy urgently needed ammunition, air defence, drones, and engineering support.

The largest-ever single package of equipment from the UK will also be sent to Ukraine. This includes 60 boats, more than 1,600 strike and air defence missiles, additional Storm Shadow long-range precision-guided missiles, more than 400 vehicles, and nearly four million rounds of small arms ammunition.

This military aid package is a clear indicator of the UK’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The UK will also announce a tripling of its export finance funding for Poland. This significant investment will help boost trade and support UK companies looking to invest in Poland.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is travelling to Poland, where he will make these announcements, indicating the UK’s commitment to strengthening its military partnership with Poland and enhancing European security.
