New Delhi: Prominent West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh Wednesday shared photos of Pakistani Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem with Muhammad Haris Dar, an alleged member of the terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), on X.
Headlining the images with the controversial question, “Are all Pakistanis terrorists?”, Ghosh wrote: “Supporting jihad seems to be the natural instinct of the Pakistani people. Even an Olympic gold medalist is no exception.”
The former chief of the Bengal BJP, who was defeated in the last Lok Sabha polls, also described Dar as the “joint secretary of the Milli Muslim League”, a political party founded by terrorist Hafiz Saeed as an LeT front.

India has accused Hafiz Saeed of masterminding the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 that killed 166 people. Ten years later, the US identified the Milli Muslim League and its officials as Specially Designated Global Terrorists.
In videos doing the rounds online, Dar is reportedly heard telling the javelin thrower that he had made the entire Muslim Ummah proud and that he had to stay in Pakistan and seal its place in the world. ThePrint has not independently verified the video.
Nadeem nods his head as Dar further says: “(Your achievement) is a big deal… It has enthused the youth. We will now arrange tournaments like in the developed world,” Dar says as the group, including Nadeem, applauds.
Last Thursday, Nadeem beat defending champion Neeraj Chopra in the Paris Olympics to clinch Pakistan’s first Olympic medal in athletics. Nadeem broke the Olympic record on his second throw with 92.97 metres, which put him sixth on the all-time list.

Pretty much all Pakistanis are like that. They may not say so openly but they do have a soft corner for Islamic jihadis of all shades – be it the Kashmiri jihadi or the ISIS jihadi or the Boko Haram jihadi.
The smiles and friendship with Neeraj Chopra were just for the camera. The reality is this.
