COPENHAGEN, April 21 (Reuters) – The airport in Greenland’s capital Nuuk has reopened after it was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Tuesday, police said, adding they had not found any dangerous object on the premises.

Police said they had arrested a woman around the age of 50 but added they expected to release her soon. They were first alerted to the threat at 1532 p.m. (1632 GMT).

Such incidents are extremely rare in Greenland, a vast semi-autonomous Arctic island that is part of the kingdom of Denmark.
