COPENHAGEN, April 21 (Reuters) – The airport in Greenland’s capital Nuuk was evacuated on Tuesday following a bomb threat and one person has been arrested in the case, police said.

Asked by Reuters, they declined to say whether they had found any dangerous object on the premises of the airport and made no further comment on the matter.

Such incidents are extremely rare in Greenland, a vast semi-autonomous Arctic island that is part of the kingdom of Denmark.
