LONDON (Reuters) -Leaders of Britain, France and Germany on Friday called for all sides to refrain from further escalation after Israeli strikes against nuclear and military facilities in Iran, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s office said.

Starmer held a call with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on the situation, Starmer’s office said in a statement.

“The leaders discussed the long-held grave concerns about Iran’s nuclear programme, and called on all sides to refrain from further escalation that could further destabilize the region,” the statement said.
