ASEAN Secretary-General meets Acting Foreign Minister of Sudan

The meeting Friday was significant in strengthening Sudan's relationship with the bloc.

New Delhi: ASEAN Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn met with the Acting Foreign Minister of Sudan, Hussein Awad Ali Friday at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, an ASEAN press release stated.

During the meeting, the two discussed regional and global developments and ways to strengthen relations of South East Asian nations with Sudan.

The meeting took place at the ASEAN Headquarters and was a forum for the two countries to exchange views on regional and global developments.
